Horseshoes and Hand Grenades by P41nM4k3r Horseshoes and Hand Grenades by P41nM4k3r
Yup, so I've heard. Close only counts in Horseshoes and Hand Grenades!

Actually, I would like to throw a Hand Grenade at the Horseshoe variation! It was tough to work with!

This is my entry for f--l--A--r--k's Apophysis Challenge #25.

The theme for this weeks challenge is Horseshoe. The Horseshoe variation must be used to a meaningful degree.

I was going to try to use Horseshoe in every transform but, this turned out instead.

You will need the Taurus3 plugin available in The Aposhack Plugin Pack by phoenixkeyblack.

I hear you with your frustration with Horseshoe! It's no wonder it's not used by very many people.
Thank you very much for giving a little explanation of what you did, and the plugins used, as well as where to get them. It's all very much appreciated.

I think horseshoe works best on the bottom of horse's feet!
Or maybe as a "minor complimentary effect".
You're very welcome, anytime. :)
Thank you for the comment. :D

When I saw the name of the fractal I imagined that those were your feelings (to throw a grenade at the variation) It is quite messy
You ended up with a nice fractal though  Congrats and good luck for the challenge. :blowkiss:

I must have ended a dozen or more sessions with nothing more than "a bowl of spaghetti" or Apo soup!
It was a bit frustrating. I found that using a bit of pre_blur on the transform BEFORE horseshoe, helped quite a bit.
Thank you very much, and good luck to you too! :highfive:

Thanks for the tip about the pre-blur, will try that (when I feel masochistic). Though as I said before, I found it works great as a finalX in a tile formation.
Loved that "bowl of spaghetti" Apo soup  :lmao:
